I actually went backpacking from Stuttgart...and drove down to Lucerne, You will love the beautiful scenery of the city, the mountains, the lake..and the pretty girls ?!
There are many churches, museums, small streets running like a maze, bridges, historical towers, fountains and buildings.
This is the place where you get your Rolex...
The Old Swiss House was built one and the half century ago. Many ranked the Old Swiss House number 1 restaurant in Lucerne. Sad I was backpacking so cannot afford to dine in restaurants...hehe.
The Dying Lion of Lucerne is one of the world's most famous monuments. It was carved out from the natural rock of a cliff in memory of the heroic death of the Swiss mercenaries at Tuileries in 1792.
You have seen the town, next will be the lake and the alps !
